TIME CHANGE OF POETRY READING
The poetry reading scheduled for January 14th @ Cafe Bean in Washington, PA is being moved up a little in the day. It will now start @ 2:45pm. In true DIY style, the owner of the venue double booked, so we were faced w/ one of two options: to either move the time and keep the venue, or move the venue and keep the time. we have decided to do the former for two reasons. One is that it is less work for us (and the guy at the venue felt really bad, so we can still help him out, i guess). And two: this will give us more time to get together afterwards and be social. Hopefully it will cause no problem to so many people coming in from so many different places.
As before, if anyone needs a ride, let me know and we can try to set up a carpool. There are people coming in from Cincinatti, Columbus, Chicago, DC, Pittsburgh, Wheeling, and Weirton. (Still no word from Morgantown) after the reading ends at about 6:30, Nate and Jenn Blake are opening their doors for a social gathering of Wonder Boys proportions. There will be floorspace available, too, if anyone needs a place to stay. Please join us in a celebration of the written word and our own witty selves.
